Texas-born, Brooklyn-based comic Jordan Carlos (The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, @Midnight, Broad City & Girls (HBO)) loves being “that guy from that thing.” Full of unique takes on everything from how humans have better sex than whales to the snobbery of apple-picking, Jordan’s weaves unique stories and impressions (Obama, Trump, and Dennis Rodman among others) for maximum laughs.

About Jon and Katherine:

Jon Durnell grew up in the mean streets of a beautiful suburban community in Nashville, TN.  After years of experience in Los Angeles, he is becoming one of the most known unknowns in the city.  He has performed in colleges, coffeehouses, dive bars, theaters, comedy clubs, backyards and skateboard shops across the USA.  He has also performed at the Laughing Skull Festival, the Beast Village Festival and the Scruffy City Comedy Festival. Jon has appeared on Comedy Central and Funny or Die.

19KatherineJessupKatherine Jessup is a comedian based in Washington, DC. Katherine brings a unique point of view to the absurdities of daily life. Alternately called “a good person” and “tall,” Katherine draws on her own life experiences to entertain audiences all over the East Coast. A former cubicle jockey and high school coach, Katherine can be found most nights trying to make strangers laugh.

Be there as celebrate the completion of our first full year of First Friday Comedy shows at Saw Works with Jon Durnell, Katherine Jessup, and special guests.
