About QED Comedy Lab:

QED Comedy Laboratory is a regular, experimental comedy show on Monday nights at the Pilot Light created and masterminded by Matt Chadourne. The goal of this night is to provide a venue for one-off or rotating themed show ideas that explore new outlets for comedy. This is an opportunity for Stand-Ups, Improvisers, Sketch Performers, Writers, Actors, Musicians, and others to work together, get out of their comfort zones and demonstrate that they’re funny.

The shows are different every week with a fun, exciting or just plain weird theme that will challenge our performers and make you laugh. Like the QED Comedy Lab page on Facebook to keep up to date on each week’s new theme.

QED – Bury the Lede

QED Comedy Lab presents Burying the Lede

Come watch our experimental comedians put their improv skills to the test as they become tabloid reporters. At this week’s QED Comedy Lab our performers will be shown a sensational headline on stage. They will then have to tell us some unexpected/shocking facts and information from this article that the headline doesn’t actually convey.

No cover charge. Donations accepted. Matt Chadourne is the host.

QED presents I Drew a Crowd

QED presents I Drew a Crowd 22 Feb 2016

Gather round for a slightly interactive comedy show this week at QED. For this week’s show, our comics must build their set around the time-honored comedy skill of crowd work.

Can a comic build solid jokes based on simple questions they ask you? Come on down and find out. Without you, there’s no crowd. Without a crowd, there’s no crowd work.

Our host this week is Matt Chadourne. The Pilot Light is 18+. No cover, but donations accepted.
