Fourth and Gill Friday Comedy

Fourth and Gill Friday Comedy at Sassy Ann'sThis Friday, get out of the house and come to Sassy’s house in Knoxville’s historic Fourth and Gill neighborhood for live entertainment. Sassy Ann’s hosts “Fourth and Gill Friday!,” a weekly open mic comedy show with special feature guests.

You never know what’s going to happen at Fourth and Gill Friday, but you can bet it will be something fun. Stick around after the comedy as the Sassy Ann’s attic becomes a dance floor with a DJ spinning tunes to take you into the late hours of the evening.

Fourth and Gill Friday is a popular spot for visiting comedians from other city scenes to “drop in” while passing through Knoxville. And, of course, it’s a great place to catch Knoxville’s local comics each week, too. Fourth and Gill Friday has even hosted the recording session for a live comedy album. Be prepared for anything, but mostly be prepared to laugh.

Each week’s show includes a mixture of open mic performances of short sets (5 minutes each) with up to three featured comedians performing longer 10 minute sets.

Sassy Ann’s has two full bars to serve you inside. When the weather permits, there is also a starlit patio and additional bar to serve you before and after the show. Ask about Sassy Ann’s menu specials from the kitchen, too, to enjoy during a Fourth and Gill Friday comedy show.

Sassy Ann’s has free on-site parking. There is no cover.

All shows at Sassy Ann’s are 21+ to attend. The show starts at 9 pm.

Jake James is your host.

Sassy Ann’s is located in a Victorian house in Knoxville’s historic Fourth and Gill neighborhood just minutes from Downtown and the Old City.
