He’s also been featured on the Hindsight with Dan Van Kirk and Arguments & Grievances podcasts, in the Chicago Tribune and appears in the upcoming SeeSo series Hidden America With Jonah Ray.
The 1988 film Die Hard is based on his life.

 

About Max:

Fine MaxMax Fine is a comedian from Atlanta, GA. After pursuing and failing at a handful of other careers such as filmmaking and public office, he began his attempt at standup comedy. In addition to being one of the cofounders of Pretty Cool Productions, he is the producer and co-host of the highly regarded comedy house show, Fuck Party. Max can regularly be seen all over Atlanta and frequently on the road. He has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with national headliners like James Adomian, Ron Funches, and many more.

Previewing a Busy Summer Comedy Schedule

WBIR-TV, the NBC affiliate here in Knoxville, has generously offered Scruffy City Comedy the chance to provide viewers with a sneak preview of a few of the many great live comedy events taking place in the area in July.

Dave Losso was born & raised and currently lives in Chicago, IL but enjoys doing stand-up just about anywhere. Sometimes this means performing in living rooms, the Orlando Indie Comedy Festival, bowling alleys, the Cape Fear Comedy Festival, sex shops, the Madison Comedy Festival and even comic book stores.

His tireless DIY work ethic has landed him all over the country and sharing the stage with such acts as Kyle Kinane, Ari Shaffir, Ben Kronberg, Sean Patton, Jared Logan and Ian Karmel. He’s also been featured on Hindsight with Dan Van Kirk, Arguments & Grievances, in the Chicago Tribune and appeared in the pilot Hidden America with Jonah Ray.

Back home, he produces the critically acclaimed showcases The Yeah Buddy Awesome Time Comedy Show and Best Night Ever and served as a staff writer for The Whiskey Journal Live at The Lincoln Lodge.

Alex Kumin’s bold and socially conscious standup delights crowds across the city of Chicago and around the US. She is a cast member of the longest running independent standup comedy showcase in the country, The Lincoln Lodge, and is one of the fastest rising comedians in the city.

She has opened for Kyle Kinane, Todd Barry and Jen Kirkman, and has appeared in Accidental Comedy Fest, Limestone Comedy Festival and The Chicago Comedy Expo. She was highlighted in Chicago magazine as a comedian with “unapologetic honesty” and tackles heavy hitting social issues, ranging from gender inequality to thigh chaffing.
