Her southern charm and storytelling talents have led her to a successful comedy career performing at comedy clubs, performing arts centers, and theaters across the country. Her homespun sensibility and sense of humor have earned her spots as a guest advice panelist on Dr. Phil’s television program as well as live and televised performances with cooking star Paula Deen. Leanne has also appeared on The View and was a finalist for Nick at Nite’s Funniest Mom in America.

Leanne is heard daily on Sirius/XM and has her own show on Blue Collar Radio called Chewing the Fat.

The Bijou Theatre is one of Knoxville’s crown jewels for downtown entertainment venues. Originally built in 1815 as a tavern and hotel, the Bijou has been a Civil War hospital, an X-rated theater, and a vaudeville stage. In its vaudeville days, the Bijou hosted performances by The Marx Brothers, Houdini, and even John Philip Sousa. Tickets for Bijou Theatre shows are available via the Tennessee Theater box office on Clinch Avenue or on through the Bijou’s website.

The Bijou has bar service and is a non-smoking facility.
