For April, First Friday Comedy at Saw Works welcomes Atlanta’s Ian Aber and Hayley Ellman. We’ll also have a local feature performance from Knoxville’s own Joe Leeper. Our host this month is Matthew Chadourne. Additional details TBA.
Be sure to get there early! Seats fill up fast at this show. The show starts at 7pm. There is no cover charge.
Ian Aber is a comedian, writer and show producer based out of Atlanta, Georgia. He’s been a featured performer and host at The Atlanta Improv and Laughing Skull Lounge and accepted into the Orlando Indie Fest Comedy Festival, Scruffy City Comedy Festival and Hell Yes Fest. in 2015, Ian was recently a finalist in NBC’s Stand UP For Diversity talent infusion program and will be a part of NBC’s NACA tour in 2016. His comedic style highlights the absurd in even the most serious of subject matter. “He’s funny,” whispered the person you trust the most.
Hayley Ellman is a comedian out of Atlanta, GA. She was inspired to start writing and performing after watching the likes of Bill Cosby, Woody Allen, and other talented perverts; she still hasn’t figured out how to tell people who her biggest influences are anymore. She charms audiences with her frankness, whimsy, and the obvious amount of fun that she has onstage.
Join us for delicious food from one of Knoxville’s great food trucks and awesome craft beer brewed by our hosts at Saw Works Brewing. And, of course, join us for the laughter.
The show starts at 7 pm and there is no cover.
